Job Description
The purpose of this program is to equip the Finance Graduate with practical skills and knowledge in financial management, analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, as well as exposure to various financial systems and tools.
Responsibilities
The Finance Graduate will be responsible for:
- Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assisting with inventory and asset management, including stock issues, stock counts, and asset tagging
- Conducting financial analysis of asset performance and providing recommendations for improvement
- Implementing controls and processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Assisting with internal and external audit processes
- Reconciling financial transactions and preparing financial statements
- Managing project-related tasks, including accruals and GRV invoices
- Administering petty cash and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
Requirements
To be eligible for this program, candidates must:
- Hold a BCom Finance or Accounting degree
- Be medically fit and possess a valid driver’s license
- Have basic knowledge of VAT principles and be available to start immediately
- Not have previously been employed nor participated in a similar Graduate Programme
- Be willing to travel locally
